Stadium Triathlon
by bernt & torsten
The other days I was watching the Brazilian Grand Prix – Formula One that was won by Sebastian Vettel. It hit me, why do we not have stadium triathlons, we could use all the car race tracks around the world to do our races, all they need to do is to add a swimming pool and off we go.
Can you imagine biking down the Nurburgring with its ups and downs, and then run through the forest along the track to complete a triathlon. Race tracks would be a great arena for stadium triathlons, at least up to the Olympic distance.
I would not mind do explore it more to see what could be done, as these race tracks are not used more than a few times a month, maybe even less.
