Sources of Calcium
by bernt & torsten
Western culture has ingrained in us that dairy is the best source of dietary calcium. We’re taught about the four food groups in school — and that you get calcium from drinking milk or eating cheese.
We’re also told that dairy will help you grown up to be big and strong. The only problem is a lot of us are sensitive to dairy or are disgusted by hormones and antibiotics found in milk these days, or just plain don’t agree with the way animals are treated in that part of the food production chain.
Check out the new Vega infographic on calcium, and learn which vegetables and seeds pack the biggest calcium punch. You find it here.
