
Researchers Warns: Our Biodiversity is close to collapse

This morning while I was doing my news roundup, the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet, reported on the article Biodiversity loss and its impact on humanity from the Nature journal.
The earth’s biosphere is a few generations away from reaching an irreversible breaking point, with disastrous consequences. If the current trends continue, researchers believe that we will get dangerously close to the breaking point. If the breaking point is reached, it could lead to a shocking disruption of Earth’s food supply, where whole regions’ ability to grow corn, wheat, rice and other major crops deteriorate.
