A Poem: The Unsung Architects High School Think-Tanks
by bernt & torsten
In classrooms lit by fluorescent hum,
Young minds rise like the morning sun,
Not yet kings of the national stage,
But thinkers in youth's fervent age.
These days, these confrontational high school philosophers
Throw us new bones of meat,
Veiled in the guise of debate articles,
Whispers of wisdom, surging heartbeat.
Through lenses of innocence, they see,
Redrafting boundaries of what could be.
Not maestros of political fame,
Yet forging ideas all the same.
Their arenas are chalkboards and desks,
With rhetoric rich, minds set to impress.
Prolific or not in grand domains,
They weave ideation through modest frames.
In the halls where laughter blends with thought,
They grapple with issues their minds have caught.
Not for global applause or political gait,
But for the thrill of the intellectual debate.
So let's honor these unsung architects,
With dreams larger than their context.
For their aspirations and disputes now,
May well shape futures, unknown somehow.
