A Poem: The Human Brain
by bernt & torsten
The human brain, a universe within,
A vessel of memories, dreams, and light.
Only your brain holds your story,
A tale no other mind can write.
Only your brain remembers your childhood,
The laughter, the fears, the wonder of firsts
Your first kiss, your first love,
The moments that shaped your thirst.
But also, only your brain knows your sorrow,
The disappointments, the silent nights,
The weight of loss, the pain of failure,
The wounds that sharpen your sights.
From all of this, creativity blooms,
A garden of thought, uniquely sown.
No other mind holds your visions,
No other mind dreams as your own.
For centuries, we turned to substances,
Seeking to push beyond the real,
To heighten thought, to touch the divine,
To unlock what we truly feel.
Now AI stands at the threshold,
A new tool to expand the mind,
Enhancing thought without the poison,
A new frontier for humankind.
Will it work for you? Will it fail?
Will it spark new flames or leave them pale?
For some, a door; for others, a chain,
AI will shape each mind its own way.
