Cycletrippin the bonus ride, I been in Sant Hilari Sacalm for 5 days, the skillshare I have attended has come to a close, I’m ready to head home. It is Friday, June 13, not to be superstitious, I left Sant Hilari Sacalm a few hours ago to ride to Barcelona, it’s my bonus ride.
Taking off and saying bye to the skillshare participants was not too hard, the first 25 km was downhill, not to exist, had some imbalance in the bike so I had to stop to fix that, turn out the fork was a bit loose. My initial route was to take the shortest distance to Barcelona, the weather was good, so I changed my mind and headed down to the coast to ride from Malgrat de Mar to Barcelona, got into a few navigation troubles in Tordera – small village I went in circles for a while before I found the way to Malgrat de Mar.
The ride from Malgrat de Mar to Barcelona was great – a few tight corners with nice views and messy villages to get through, lots of cyclists out so I could pace myself and get a bit of tempo riding.
Got into Barcelona – went for a walk – tomorrow I going to ride to the airport after I have seen Park Güell.
